Photos and Slideshows

NOTICE:  Only pictures that are, or appear to be, taken in a public setting, will ever be posted on this site, but we cannot, and will not, attempt to attain permission of anyone in any photograph or video to post said photograph or video.  Once someone is in a public place and a picture is taken of them, HOA cannot be expected to control non-commercial use of the picture.The webmaster will consider any complaints received pertaining to any photo or video and may elect to remove any photo or video as a result from a complaint. Any complaints and action taken will be reported to the HOA Board in the monthly reporting process.

Pages were created for the two group activities that generated the most photos for WBE. The Websmaster can establish a photo gallery page for any other group or activity that would like one. The slide-show page is for use by all groups and residents to provide links to slide-shows that contain numerous pictures and possibly music, covering events at or outside of WBE (example: Lakeland Christmas parade).

Operationally, the website has the ability to host photos,  Youtube videos, and slide-shows that can be added by registered residents.

Members who have many photos to post to the website may find it easier to upload to a photo sharing service or to create a slide-show.  You can post the link to your photo sharing service and slide shows by:

• clicking on "Photo Galleries" and opening the slide show and sharing menu option.
• Click on Add a Listing
• Paste the link into the dialgue box then clcik on "Go"
• Check to ensure the link works. If not contact the webmaster for assistance

To upload photos to an existing or newly created photo gallery as requested  from the webmaster:

• click on the appropriate  gallery
• open the Add Photo(s) option
• Select your picture(s) the and click "open"
• Once uploaded, you can add comments by using the edit feature for each picture

Examples of free slide-show software we have used are  from:
Photopeach.com (max 30 pics, will not play on Apple),
 photosnack.com  (not very creative, max 15 pics but will play on Apple).
Flipagram ( very easy, plays on everything)
Youtube, arguably the best and most creative platform
